DATA PROTECTION
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how FamilyMeds handles your data. Our goal is to deliver reliable medication reminders without collecting any personal health data.
1. Core Principles
Privacy is built into FamilyMeds. Medication tracking, reminders, and scheduling happen on your device. We do not run any servers that store your medication history or personal health information.
2. Information We Collect
FamilyMeds does not collect any personal information, user identifiers, or health data. All medication tracking and scheduling happens locally on your device or in iCloud for cross-device syncing.
3. Beta Program Communication
If you volunteer for our TestFlight or other beta programs, we may temporarily collect only the email address you provide for essential communication about the beta program. This information is stored separately, used solely for beta-related communication, and is deleted when the program ends or immediately upon request. To have your beta contact information deleted, contact us at admin@med-reminders.com.
4. Beta and Support Communication
For beta testing programs and direct support requests you initiate with us, minimal contact information may be temporarily collected only for the purpose of communication. This information is not stored long-term and is never combined with other datasets or sold to third parties.
5. On-Device Processing and Storage
The medication database, reminder logic, and scheduling algorithms run locally. If you enable iCloud syncing, your medication schedules and preferences are stored in your own iCloud account, under Apple's governance. We cannot access that content.
6. Website Analytics
Our marketing site does not use cookies, ad trackers, behavioral analytics platforms, or any form of analytics.
7. Third-Party Sharing
We do not share any user information with advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties. If required by law, we may disclose minimal data to comply with a valid legal request, but we design the service so there is little or nothing to disclose.
8. Your Choices
- You can use the app without signing in; no identifier is generated.
- You may delete the app at any time, which removes on-device medication history.
- You control any information stored in iCloud through your Apple settings.
9. Updates to This Policy
We may revise this Privacy Policy as features evolve. Changes will be posted in-app and on this page. Your continued use of FamilyMeds after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
